We take pride in creating a fine hand crafted product.
Because our fused glass is hand crafted, no two items are ever completely identical. 

Doug Latta, founder of our shop, began fusing glass as a hobby in the mid-90's.  Originally Doug made only clear vases.

With time and experimentation, the line expanded to include colorful pieces in a wide range of styles from
whimsical to sophisticated.

Following in her father's footsteps, Judy learned the secrets of her father's techniques while engaging in other types of business ventures.  She inherited her dad's business in 2010 and has managed Latta's Fused Glass since.

The process begins by cutting the glass that is to become the base of the item being crafted.

Small shards and chips of glass then are carefully placed upon the base...

... and arranged into the desired pattern.  The layout is examined and any necessary adjustments made before the final stage.

Finally, when the artisan is satisfied that everything is as it should be...

... last but not least, the work-piece in-progress is fired in the kiln.  This is the stage where the glass chips become fused to the base, and to each other, and come out of the kiln as the finished product.
